This privacy notice for Wohngemeinschaft LLC (“Survivoid”, "we”, "us”, or "our”), describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your information when you use our services ("Services"), such as when you:

  • Download and use our application (Survivoid), or any other application of ours that links to this privacy notice
  • Engage with us in other related ways, including any sales, marketing, or events


Your continued use of Survivoid will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information. We will process your data only in accordance with this policy and in compliance with any and all privacy and data protection laws in all applicable jurisdictions(e.g. GDPR, CCPA).

To provide you with the best app experience, we may update this privacy policy from time to time as we make changes to the app.


Definitions
  • Developer User Data means personal data independently collected or processed from an end user (whether a person or an entity) through the Content (including without limitation through web-based account creation, or inputs from the end user through the Meta Quest device).
  • Device User Data is any data, information, or content that is about or associated with a person, device, or unique identifier (including anonymized or hashed user IDs) that is obtained directly from a Meta Quest device. This includes data from sensors such as a microphone or camera and the position of a user’s headset. It also includes data calculated about a user’s hands and body (i.e., abstracted hand and body data), face (i.e., abstracted facial expressions data), and eyes (i.e., abstracted gaze data). Device User Data does not include IP address.
  • Meta Horizon User Data is any data, information, or content that is about or associated with a person, device, or unique identifier (including anonymized or hashed user IDs) that is obtained from Meta Horizon, such as data collected from Meta Horizon's SDK. Meta Horizon User Data includes all Meta Horizon access tokens, app secrets, Meta user IDs, email addresses, profile pictures and usernames.
  • User Data is the combination of Meta Horizon User Data and Device User Data. It does not include Developer User Data.




What data do we collect? How do we use your data? How do we store your data?


This is the data we retrieve in order to improve your user experience:

Device User Data

  • Sensor streams (microphone, headset position, calculated user's hand positions)
      – Purpose: real‑time VR tracking
      – Processing: in‑memory only, transmitted to other players to create a social VR experience
      – Retention: none

Meta Horizon User Data

  • Hashed Meta User ID
      – Purpose: identify users across sessions (used as your username on Photon Engine), in order to provide matchmaking services. This information is not personally identifying due to hashing.
      – Processing: this information is fully processed on the USA on Photon Engine servers, due to our choice of servers.   – Retention: none

  • Meta User Profile
      – Purpose: display your profile picture within the app or other users of the app, within the app.
      – Processing: in‑memory only, transmitted to other players to create a social VR experience
      – Retention: none

  • Meta Friends
      – Purpose: locate your friends who are also entitled to your app in order to help you find your friends to join together in social VR experience.
      – Processing: in‑memory only
      – Retention: none

Developer User Data

  • Worlds & character save‑files
      – Purpose: persist your game progress locally
      – Processing: in‑memory only
      – Retention: stored only on the device itself

We do not use any user data to perform analytics.
No other information is retrieved.

How do I request the deletion of my data?

The right to deletion is applicable to all users regardless of region. Please contact privacy@survivoid.com with any questions or request for data privacy and removal.
